Holiday Shred Squad: April (ages 5-6*)

Adventure awaits! Welcome to School Holiday Shred Squad. WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR? These sessions are suitable for young shredders, aged 5-6 years old (*approx), who would be considered a Beginner or Very New rider for their age. Kids may be experiencing offroad riding for the first time, or may already be able to ride simple Green Beginner trails. WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS ABOUT: Holiday Shred Squad will encourage kids to learn and develop their mountain bike skills, to push their boundaries, conquer obstacles, and discover the joy of outdoor exploration. Led by qualified and experienced mountain bike instructors with first-aid certificates and Working with Children Checks, our program focuses on building a solid foundation of biking skills tailored to each child's age and ability to help them unlock their potential. Sessions will include a combination of games, skills, and guided riding on dirt paths, grass, and simple Beginner trails. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum wheel size: 16 - Minimum age: 5 Sessions run for 1.5 hours on the below dates. Riders are welcome to attend one or all sessions. DETAILS Thurs, April 10: 12pm-1.30pm Thurs, April 17: 12pm-1.30pm WHAT TO BRING: - Mountain Bike suitable for offroad riding (min. 16-in wheel size) - AS-approved helmet (no skateboard/equestrian helmets, or similar) - Water (bottle or backpack) & snacks - Clothing that offers some protection (ie, no singlet tops) - Optional but encouraged: gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, long sleeves If you have any questions about the suitability of your child's bike, please get in touch via email: bike@ridecraftmtb.com.au (If your child falls outside the specified age category but you believe the program is suitable for them, please get in touch with us via email or phone to discuss).
